Your privacy
The short version. We keep only what an exchange needs, we never sell it, and there are no ads or trackers.
What we keep
For Organizers: your email address, your password (stored only as a secure hash), and the name you choose to show. While you're signed in, we also keep your IP address and browser type to protect your account.
For each exchange: its name, date, and spending limit, the names of the people taking part, any email addresses and notes you add, who to keep apart, and who drew whom.
People taking part
People taking part never make an account. Their private link is the only key to their page, so we keep those pages out of search engines and never pass the link on to other sites.
Their name and email address come from the Organizer. Email is optional, and we use it only to send them their link.
How we use it
Only to run the draw, send exchange emails, and keep accounts secure. We don't sell or share your information, show ads, or use analytics or tracking scripts.
Cookies
We use one cookie to keep Organizers signed in and protect forms. No advertising or tracking cookies.
Who helps us run it
Railway hosts the app and its database. Resend delivers our emails. If you leave a tip, Stripe handles the payment; we never see your card details and keep no record of tips.
Deleting your information
Organizers can delete an exchange at any time, which removes its names, email addresses, and pairings.
To delete your Organizer account, or if you took part in an exchange and want your details removed, email us and we'll take care of it.
